Late Posters Submission OPEN
Deadline for Post-Deadline Posters to appear in the final program: May 17th. Posters accepted after this date will be included in the PDF of abstracts but they will not appear in the conference program.
*Note: In all cases, one of the authors should have paid the registration.

Abstracts Guidelines

All participants are invited to submit abstracts. In order to standardize the abstract layout we ask you to use the template provided.  Try to avoid submission within 48 hours of the deadline for best system performance.

General Submission Guidelines
  1. Abstracts may be submitted online only.
  2. Please use the ABSTRACT TEMPLATE provided. Download here
    • Text: The text shall be formatted in Times New Roman, font size 12pt.
    • Abstract titles will be proofread.
  3. The abstract with text and figures (if needed) should not exceed one A4 page.
Guidelines for Authors
  1. Authors should indicate their presentation preference. The following possibilities are available:
    Oral or Poster presentation
  2. Please select one of the following categories for your abstract, related to the topics of the sessions of the conference. The scientific committee may suggest relocation of certain abstracts into a different topic to optimize the program structure.

    SUBJECT CATEGORY FOR ORAL AND POSTER PRESENTATIONS
    • Theory and method development
    • Food and sensory analysis
    • DOE, SPC and PAT
    • Spectroscopic and image analysis
    • Omics and forensics
    • Environmental and separation analysis
  3. Authors are asked to enter from 1 to 3 keywords to better define the abstract content.
  4. You will receive a confirmation by email after the submission of your abstract. Changes are possible after submission up to February 29 2016.
  5. Abstracts will be subject to review by several members of the scientific committee
  6. The presenting author (underlined in the abstract) must be one of the co-authors listed on the submitted abstract. Please note that there is a limit of TWO contributions per registered participant (oral+poster or two posters).
THE SELECTION PROCESS

  • Only abstracts describing new work relevant to chemometrics will be considered.
  • Abstracts will be considered for presentation in Oral sessions or Poster sessions.
  • Selection, based on the scientific content, will be made by members of the Scientific and Local Organizing CAC Committees.
  • Abstracts not fulfilling the guidelines will not be accepted.

Instructions for Presenters (NEW!)

To take part in the CAC2016 Conference as Oral or Poster Communication presenter, you are required to register and pay your registration fee by May 17, 2016.

Preparation of Oral Presentations

  • Oral presentations should not exceed 15 minutes (5 minutes for questions and discussion included).
  • All presenters are required to bring their presentation on a USB Memory stick and upload it directly on the Windows PC computer of the auditorium during a coffee or lunch break prior to their session.
Preparation of Posters

  • Poster dimensions should not exceed 90 cm width and 120 cm length. Posters will be attached to white, plastic-coated boards (vertical shape).
